Oakwood Court Care Home in Haywards Heath underwent a refurbishment and major extension, carried out by Niblock Builders, to help Sussex Housing & Care provide much needed additional care for older people in the local area.

The project involved the partial demolition of the existing care home and a phased design & construction of traditional build, new en-suite bedrooms with new communal facilities. Q provided a commercial structural warranty for the extension aspect, which provides 31 new care bedrooms.

Our regular programme of site inspections with technical input, supported the project through the 18 month build period.
