Q is interested to hear from experienced technical administrators and document controllers who would be interested in joining our operations team to help us deliver a quality service to our clients throughout the UK.

Q Assure Build Ltd is a Structural Defects Warranty provider for new build, refurbishment and conversion developments which puts quality build and customer service first.

What does the position involve?

Building Relationships

Being a key point of contact for the company on a daily basis, communicating with developers, builders, policyholders, insurers and surveyors.

Document Production

Producing and collating important documentation which is crucial to our compliance audit trail, including cover notes, insurance certificates, client contracts and registration certificates.  

Managing Information Flow

Managing the flow of information for client registrations and project completions, building a comprehensive audit trail, and ensuring key documentation is collected for compliance purposes.

Regulating Success

Recording all activities on the Company system, in compliance with FCA Regulations and insurer requirements, maintaining accurate and well-organised electronic filing systems.

Maintaining Processes

Following internal processes and liaising with colleagues to maintain internal systems and keep project filing requirements up to date.

Working as a Team

Working with other teams in the company on a regular basis to deliver first class service to clients, and supporting the Operations Director in reporting and auditing activities.

What do we need to know about you?

The key requirements for the ideal candidate for this role include:

Experience & Qualifications

As an ideal candidate for this role, you'll be an experienced administrator, preferably with a formal education or relevant training - although this is not compulsory, depending upon experience. 

Ideally you will have at least a Higher/A-Level in English and Maths (although this is not compulsory).

You will have experience of processing large volumes of data, document control and the ability to focus on organising & filing data electronically.

What we really need is someone who has enough experience of administration and business processes and who is able to hit the ground running in a busy office environment!

And if you have previous experience of liaising with contractors and construction industry personnel, this would be a definite advantage.

Communication Abilities

It is essential you have excellent communication skills with the ability to converse confidently with people in excellent written and spoken English.

 

You will also have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to remain calm in all situations, maintain a high level of discretion, and handle difficult / sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.

We really need someone who has a high level of attention to detail and  who is organised enough to maintain a highly controlled and accurate audit trail using the company's systems. 

Attitude & Approach

You're going to be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a flexible attitude and a general commitment to do what it takes to get the job done. 

You'll be self-sufficient and able to work independently and unsupervised, but also enjoy working with the wider team and interacting with the Operations & Underwriting Teams on a daily basis.

You will be an exceptionally well-organised person, with the ability to prioritise workload and flexibility to multi-task.

Anything else?

To do this job effectively you will need to be highly IT literate and competent, being an experienced user of general Microsoft Office software and office-based systems. Overall, we are looking for someone who is very confident in their use of technology.

Other things we are looking for include: business appropriate appearance, discreet nature, common sense approach to business and client requirements and the ability to quickly and accurately read situations.
