Q is interested to hear from experienced sales people who would be interested in joining our sales team to help us grow our client base, delivering a quality service to developers throughout the UK.

Q Assure Build Ltd is a Structural Defects Warranty provider for new build, refurbishment and conversion developments which puts quality build and customer service first. 

 

Our team is knowledgeable and experienced, helping developers and builders to identify issues early so that they don't become problems for their customers.

What does the position involve?

New Business Building

Prospecting new opportunities, driving new business income, following up all sales leads and maintaining sales momentum, taking responsibility for direct sales to client throughout the sales process.

Brand Ambassador

Representing Q and associated companies as a key Client contact throughout the country and act as key ambassador for all Q, and associated company, services.

Target Smashing

You will be responsible for your own targets, monthly & quarterly, giving you open-ended commission earning opportunity, self-motivating to meet and exceed targets and key KPIs.

Regulating Success

Recording all activities on the Company CRM system, in compliance with FCA Regulations, maintaining accurate and well-organised electronic filing systems.

Building Relationships

Developing relationships to promote client loyalty and ensure repeat business, liaising regularly with clients to gather new project information, follow up on pricing and secure new deals.

Supporting the Team

Working with other teams in the company to deliver first class service to clients, and supporting the Sales Director in reporting and forecasting activities.

What do we need to know about you?

The key requirements for the ideal candidate for this role include:

Experience & Qualifications

As an ideal candidate for this role, you'll have a proven track record in office or call-centre based sales, and can hit the ground running in terms of building a client portfolio. 

Ideally you will have at least a Higher/A-Level in English and Maths (although this is not compulsory).

It would be an advantage to hold the CII - Foundation in Insurance award, although this can be worked towards in the position.

Communication Abilities

It is essential you have excellent communication skills with the ability to converse confidently with people in excellent written and spoken English, and particularly the ability to persuade and influence senior people, ideally in a commercial environment.

 

You will also have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to remain calm in all situations, and handle difficult / sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.

We really need someone who has a high level of attention to detail and  who is organised enough to maintain a suitable audit trail using the company's systems. 

Attitude & Approach

You're going to be an ambitious, target-driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a flexible attitude and a general commitment to do what it takes to get the job done. 

You'll be driven and self-sufficient, able to work independently and unsupervised but enjoy working with the wider team and interacting with your line manager regularly.

You will be exceptionally well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload and flexibility to multi-task.

Anything else?

To do this job effectively you will need to be highly IT literate and competent, being an experienced user of general Microsoft Office software, mobile phone software, general operating systems, Sales CRM and VOIP Telephony Systems.. Overall, we are looking for someone who is very confident in their use of technology.

Other things we are looking for include: business appropriate appearance, discreet nature, common sense approach to business and client requirements and the ability to quickly and accurately read situations.
